Chapter 18 in The Origins of Holomorphic Dynamics, 2026, pp 289-302 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The days of the Grand Prix were now behind. It is time to discuss the future of holomorphic dynamics. Fatou and Julia’s results had set new standards in this field: development could no longer be driven solely by functional equations, as point set topology had offered great benefits. Soon, number theory would do the same.
