Chapter 7 in Strategic Thinking with AI, 2026, pp 285-334 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The transformative potential of artificial intelligence for strategy is widely acknowledged, yet many organizations fail to move beyond isolated experiments. The central challenge is no longer technological acquisition but organizational integration. To compete in an AI-driven landscape, a fundamental shift is required: from viewing AI as a collection of discrete tools to embedding it as a core organizational capability. This transition demands a deliberate strategic architecture that weaves AI into the very fabric of the strategy lifecycle, from environmental sensing and scenario planning to execution and feedback.
