Chapter 9 in Strategic Thinking with AI, 2026, pp 381-409 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The strategic potential of artificial intelligence (AI) is widely acknowledged, with its promise to enhance strategic foresight (Teece et al., 2016), automate complex analyzes (Duan et al., 2019), personalize decision support (Shrestha et al., 2019), and enable continuous adaptation in volatile environments (Schoemaker et al., 2018). Despite this recognized potential, a profound execution gap persists between the formulation of AI strategies and its implementation.
