Abstract: Abstract Female leadership is now widely discussed in academic research, policy debates and corporate environments, yet one of its most complex dimensions, the intersection between leadership and motherhood, remains insufficiently understood. In recent decades, women have gradually gained space in positions of responsibility, from politics to business, education and civil society. Despite this progress, reaching leadership roles often involves navigating expectations, stereotypes and structural barriers that do not affect men in the same way. And when motherhood enters the picture, these dynamics become even more pronounced.
