Chapter 6 in Female Leadership and Motherhood, 2026, pp 247-263 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The exploration of female leadership and motherhood developed in this contribution offers a rich and multifaceted understanding of how women navigate the complex terrain of professional advancement while fulfilling caregiving responsibilities. By combining theoretical perspectives with empirical evidence and, most importantly, with the narratives shared in the interview chapter, this study reveals how leadership is not simply a function of organizational position or formal authority, but a lived process shaped by identity, context and experience.
