Abstract:
Abstract This chapter offers an overview of the book’s topics and themes and presents its aims and structure. Starting from the presentation of the current scenario in the international business environment and how it has determined the relevance of global value chain (GVC) resilience, the chapter moves on to explain what makes this book original and introduces the addressed research questions as well as the theoretical and managerial contributions. The chapter closes with an illustration of the book structure and a methodological note.
