Abstract: Abstract The Albedo, or “white work,” represents the dawn, purification, and distillation of the Nigredo’s first elements. On a psychological level, it corresponds to the first glow of a renewed consciousness. At the operational level, after identifying the cognitive functions, one proceeds to combine them according to oppositional schemes to distill the essence of the “type” or “types” under examination. These operations are primarily guided by rational thought (the light of reason). The construction of the mission paradoxes also belongs to this phase. As we can go back to a complex of words belonging to the semantic field referring to the function, the individuation of the psychological types can act as an aid and an orientation to describe the paradoxes. For example, all the words belonging to the semantic fields of order, structure, and linearity can be traced back to the function Extroverted Thinking.
