Abstract:
Abstract Mathematical diagrams reach far beyond lattice diagrams. We use commutative diagrams in algebra. We use graphs in combinatorics. We use trees in logic and computer science. We use geometric figures in Euclidean geometry. We use transition diagrams in probability. In this chapter, I illustrate how ChatGPT assists with constructing this broader range of diagrams. I always follow the workflow established earlier. A prompt produces a candidate diagram. The human mathematician then verifies and refines it.
