Chapter Chapter 3 in Slow Viscous Flow, 2014, pp 81-104 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract General tensor analysis relevant to viscous hydrodynamics is presented. The covariant and contravariant forms of the Navier-Stokes equation are set out. The complete set of equations, in terms of physical components, is given for cylindrical and spherical coordinate systems.
