Abstract: Abstract Data collection in experiments usually involve two methods. The first method usually involves administering the treatment to different subjects which are stratified into groups and then measuring the outcome or dependent variable. Thus, different groups of subjects take part in the experimental condition. We could then conduct a one-way ANOVA to test differences in the mean outcome variables across the groups. This method is often referred to as the between-group or between-subjects design.
