Chapter Chapter 1 in Symbol Correspondences for Spin Systems, 2014, pp 1-5 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Despite the many developments in the last 50 years, a systematic mathematical formulation of correspondences in spin systems was still lacking in the literature. In particular, we wanted a solid mathematical presentation unifying the main scattered papers on the subject (some of them based also on heuristic arguments) and completing the various gaps, so as to clarify the whole landscape and open new paths to still unexplored territories. In this monograph we attempt to fulfill this goal, at least to some extent.
