Chapter 4 in From Calculus to Analysis, 2015, pp 69-75 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This chapter contains a brief introduction to cardinality. The focus is on countable sets. Of course, Cantor’s results that an interval is not countable and that the set of irrational numbers is uncountable are also included. In fact, most of the results in this chapter are due to Cantor.
