Chapter Chapter 8 in Empirical Modeling and Data Analysis for Engineers and Applied Scientists, 2016, pp 113-124 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The basic mixture/formulation problem is to decide, for a given set of components, how much of each component should be put into the mixture. Commonly, the quantity of the mixture is fixed (either by weight or volume) so that the amount of each component can be expressed as a fraction or percent of the whole mixture.
