Abstract: Abstract As the Chinese economy slows down from its rapid pace, its businesses face intensifying domestic competition, rising costs and tightening environmental regulations. As a result, many Chinese companies, flushed with cash and confidence from years of phenomenal growth at home, are actively seeking opportunities overseas with the tacit encouragement of the central government.
