Abstract:
Abstract Complex-valued rational functions are by definition functions which are meromorphic on the Riemann sphere, or equivalently, which are quotient of polynomials. They form thus a class of a priori very simple objects, where the notions of degree, zeros, poles, and factorization are quite obvious.
