Abstract:
Abstract Multigrid optimization schemes that solve linear elliptic optimal control problems are discussed. For the solution of these problems, a comparison is made between the multigrid for optimization (MGOPT) method and the collective smoothing multigrid (CSMG) method. Examples are given to illustrate and validate both techniques.
