Chapter Chapter 2 in Direct Store Delivery, 2009, pp 31-39 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract DSD can provide valuable insight into constantly changing consumer behavior. Working in conjunction with a responsive supply network, DSD enables CP manufacturers detect demand signals and quickly meet consumer expectations. At a time of diminishing consumer loyalty, this can help CP manufacturers differentiate themselves in the market place and maintain competitive advantage.
