Abstract:
Abstract The fateful year of 1914 had begun. The outbreak of the world war and its consequences would change the agenda for all international interactions. For Mittag-Leffler the year would entail him taking part in Swedish national politics in a dramatic fashion, and his actions would have a long-lasting impact on his posthumous reputation.
