Abstract: Summary We consider mixed hp-discontinuous Galerkin finite element methods (DGFEM) for Stokes flow in general polygons. In particular, we show that, on geometrically refined meshes, the hp-DGFEM yields exponential rates of convergence for problems with piecewise analytic input data. Numerical results confirming the exponential convergence rates are presented.
