A chapter in Numerical Mathematics and Advanced Applications, 2004, pp 559-568 from Springer

Abstract: Summary A simplified relational database model implementation for parallel numerical computation is presented. The efficiency of this data model is demonstrated through the example of an optimally parallelized H-matrix (hierarchical-matrix multiplier and its application as 3-dimensional Laplace preconditioning matrix.
