A chapter in Numerical Mathematics and Advanced Applications, 2004, pp 775-785 from Springer
Abstract:
Summary We propose and test a fully automatic, goal-oriented hp-adaptive strategy for elliptic problems. The method combines two approaches: the standard goaloriented adaptivity based on a simultaneous solution of the primal and dual problem, and a recently proposed automatic hp-adaptive strategy based on minimizing the projection-based interpolation error of a reference solution.
