Chapter Chapter 5 in A Royal Road to Algebraic Geometry, 2012, pp 119-139 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In this chapter we assume k to be an algebraically closed field, of any characteristic unless otherwise stated. Our aim is to give a summary of the most basic classical facts on higher dimensional projective algebraic geometry, as a preparation to Grothendieck’s modern theory of schemes.
