Chapter Chapter 3 in Mathematical Modeling for Complex Fluids and Flows, 2012, pp 47-67 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Underlying the study of fluid flow are the mechanical concepts of kinematics and dynamics, where kinematics applies to the description of the motion, and dynamics applies to the causes of the motion. It is first necessary to develop how to describe the motion and then examine the various forces involved in the motion and energy balance.
