Chapter Chapter 3 in In-Memory Data Management, 2012, pp 29-36 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter provides an overview of how we plan to realize our vision of making real-time information about a business available in real time. We show how using an in-memory database, designed specifically for enterprise applications, provides significant performance advantages over general purpose disk-based DBMSs. Throughout the chapter we describe the technologies we use and why these are the best choices for our particular purposes.
