Chapter 8 in Successful Decision-Making, 2013, pp 75-95 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Chapter 8 explains the Steps 3–6 of the heuristic decision-making procedure. In Step 3 the development of solution options is discussed. It is followed by the determination of the decision criteria in Step 4. In Step 5 “Determining environmental scenarios” the actor has to decide if environmental scenarios are needed. If they are, he has to determine them. Based on the results of the Steps 3–5, the decision matrix is constructed. It forms the basis for Step 6 in which the consequences of the options are determined.
