Chapter 11 in Cybernetic Approach to Project Management, 2013, pp 223-242 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Knowledge, developed between the individual possession as tacit knowledge and explicit knowledge exchanged between mainly project team members subjects permanently to the continuous process of knowledge identification, acquisition, repository, distribution and deployment in four Nonaka & Takeuchi transition phases: externalization, combination, internalization and socialization. The knowledge management system includes the behavioural rules for the project team and the technical preposition for workflow support, documents repository and retrieval. The role of the Project Management Office (PMO) is underlined. The unique scheme of project-specific project management handbook development is stepwise introduced. Examples of Templates, Checklists and Bibliography close the Chapter. Quick look at the beginning of the Chapter that gives cornerstone assessment of the process is presented here.
