Abstract: Abstract In today’s globalized competitive environment, realizing the fact that the individual resources are insufficient, more and more companies are gradually deepening the understanding and awareness of the win-win business model and alliance. Under the influence of the concept of service-dominate logic, and value co-creation, a relatively new concept, has attracted the attention of scholars. This study focuses on the inter-enterprise value co-creation and its mechanisms. Basing on resource theories, we analyzed the relationships among asset co-specialization, technical dependence, inter-enterprise value co-creation, partnership quality and innovation. A conceptual model is developed.
