Abstract: Abstract The paper analyzes the impact of environment regulation on FDI in Jiangsu. It puts forwards that the environmental regulations have a negative impact on FDI but the impact is not significant. Although FDI in Jiangsu mainly focus on the secondary industry, it is not obvious in high energy consumption and high pollution industries such as energy, construction, chemical and metallurgical. So, in short term, it will not cause direct environment pollution. Finally, it puts forwards the countermeasures to protect the environment when we attract the FDI.
