Chapter Chapter 25 in Linear Programming Computation, 2014, pp 647-695 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In this final chapter, we highlight an assortment of several topics. Firstly, several special forms of the LP problem are introduced in the next section. Then, approaches to intercepting for primal and dual optimal sets are given in Sect. 25.2. Practical pricing schemes for computing reduced costs used by pivot rules are presented in Sect. 25.3. The relaxation principle and two algorithms based on it are described in Sect. 25.4. Local duality is introduced in Sect. 25.5. A decomposition principle and related two LP algorithms are highlighted in Sect. 25.6. Finally, an ILP method based on the reduced simplex framework is developed in Sect. 25.7.
