A chapter in Proceedings of the Conference on Complex Analysis, 1965, pp 70-81 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract As early as 1934, Oka [7] mentioned, without proof, that a family of non-negative divisors is normal if and only if the area of the divisors is uniformly bounded on compact subsets. This report is concerned with recent results obtained on this problem. At first some pertinent definitions and facts shall be reviewed.
