Abstract: Zusammenfassung Für die Summe der n ersten ganzen Zahlen gilt folgende Formel: $$1 + 2 + ... + n = \frac{{n\left( {n + 1} \right)}} {2}$$ die dem Leser wahrscheinlich als Summe einer arithmetischen Reihe bekannt ist. Wir wollen die Formel nachprüfen, indem wir für n irgendwelche ganzen Zahlen einsetzen; z. B. ist für n = 1,2, 4 bzw.
