A chapter in Mathematik Schlüsseltechnologie für die Zukunft, 1997, pp 25-34 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The aim of the ongoing project is to estimate possibilities of distributed computation in the numerical simulation of room air flows. The basic model of a stationary, incompressible, non-isothermal flow is the system of the energy and Navier-Stokes equation (with Boussinesq approximation). We present results obtained by now with an overlapping Schwarz method on a transputer system and with a non-overlapping domain decomposition method on a workstation cluster.
