Abstract: Zusammenfassung Il principio di continuità di Poncelet ha, nella teoria delle funzioni algebriche, un’ importanza che non deve essere ridotta — come spesso accade — alle sole questioni numerative. A questo criterio fondamentale sono ispirate le „Lezioni sulla teoria geometrica delle equazioni e delle funzioni algebriche“ di cui già ho pubblicato due volumi colla collaborazione del Dr. Oscar Chisini1), e di cui stiamo . preparando il terzo, che si riferisce ad argomenti nuovamente svolti nei miei corsi universitari degli anni 1918–19 e 1919–20. Da questo volume traggo la presente Nota.
