Abstract: Abstract Recent progress in understanding the Uq(sl2) symmetry of sû(2) k current algebra and of“thermal” minimal conformal models is previewed. New features include the introduction of a pair of regular bases of 4-point invariants in the space of conformal blocks and in the quantum group space as well as a derivation of the results for minimal models from the current algebra results for a fractional level k.
