Using Structural Equation Modeling in Usability Research

Christian Schalles

Chapter 7 in Usability Evaluation of Modeling Languages, 2013, pp 95-105 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The following two chapters extend the empirical analysis of chapter six by analyzing language’s metaproperties and their causal impact on different usability attributes. The findings show how the metaproperties of modeling languages influence usability and connected attributes. Chapter seven introduces a statistical methodology for detecting and analyzing causal interactions [Schalles et al., 2011a].
