Chapter 5 in Innovation Acceptance, 2014, pp 93-139 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract According to the research design, the overall aim of this chapter is to develop concepts that are involved in the individual belief formation towards the use of Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems. These concepts constitute the basis for the construction of a quantitative questionnaire; thus, they should be: As complete as possible, covering all sorts of affective and cognitive, conscious and unconscious, favourable and unfavourable beliefs towards ADAS technology; Clearly described, mutually exclusive and exhaustive, with as little overlap as possible; Directly based on the interview response with a clear and reproducible reference.
