RPA in Practice: Results of an Empirical Study

Christian Langmann and Daniel Turi

Chapter 5 in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) - Digitization and Automation of Processes, 2022, pp 95-120 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Numerous companies are already using RPA to automate various processes. To get insights into questions such as since when companies have been using RPA, to what extent or for which processes they use it, the Munich University of Applied Sciences conducted an empirical study. Within this study, RPA experts from more than 100 companies that have already implemented RPA were surveyed at the end of 2020. This chapter presents the central results of the survey.
