Chapter 1 in Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, 2023, pp 1-3 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Many experienced controllers feel overwhelmed by the current developments in the field of “artificial intelligence”. Yet there are good reasons to confidently state that significant contributions are possible, even necessary, to help the project succeed. It is not the early start, the specialization already in education, but the broad wealth of experience and the diverse, practical experiences that make the difference. Where there are clear patterns and simple solutions, specialists are successful. In an increasingly complex world, other, more varied knowledge is decisive for success. These are not possessed by newcomers to the profession and specialists, but by experienced controllers.
