Agility

Abstract:
Abstract Many players presuppose an agile organization as the basis for successful digitization. Agility is referred to as the “operating system” of digitization. “Agile” is basically a word with positive connotations; a little more agility, a little more fire, will not harm the employees either, according to the unspoken but nevertheless implied assumption. When established companies invoke the “extra mile” and look to start-ups where no works council protects employee rights and monitors compliance with the Working Hours Act, one difference should not be forgotten: with these, entrepreneurship is not played, but lived, through direct participation in success. Agile is the one who puts his own skin on the line. Conversely, employees of a company are by definition not agile, which also applies to employed managers.
