Chapter Chapter 7 in German-Chinese M&A Transactions in the SME Sector, 2023, pp 105-121 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract For over ten years, Chinese companies have been investing regularly in Germany. The strategy of the Chinese government, starting with the foreign policy opening and first market economy components in 1978 and continued after the financial crisis since 2009 in the form of large investment programs, suggests that there have been many successful transactions in recent years. However, they do not occur in the multitude, as the economic policy strategy of China would initially expect.
