Abstract:
Abstract Chapter 10 focuses on the filling of key positions. It includes the renewal of the supervisory and executive boards and thus partly means securing the succession. In a framework, the task is divided into six sub-tasks: (1) Define key positions and make plans to fill them. (2) Attract and develop young high-potential employees. (3) Fill management and expert positions. (4) Fill positions on the executive board. (5) Fill positions on the supervisory board. (6) Build up employer branding. The six sub-tasks are then described. The chapter concludes with a clarification of the responsibilities of the supervisory and executive boards.
