Abstract: Abstract This chapter presents a scientific study on Choice Overload and the influence of the number of products in a decision situation on purchasing behavior, summarizes meta-analyses that statistically examine Choice Overload and identify influencing factors for the occurrence of Choice Overload, and discusses why assortment reductions should be tested in advance.
