Chapter Chapter 1 in Virtual Team Collaboration, 2024, pp 1-6 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Virtual team collaboration is omnipresent in today’s world. Chatting via social media is a low-level collaborative virtual experience, and developing a product across locations, using virtual reality, lies at the other end of the spectrum. The starting point of this development was combined technological advancements and globalization from the 1990s onwards which led to the inception of global virtual teams.
