Abstract: Zusammenfassung Dieses Kapitel stellt COBIT als ein Framework für die Governance der IT vor. Eingeleitet durch einen kurzen historischen Abriss, diskutiert das Kapitel die bei COBIT Enabling Categories genannten Kontextfaktoren für die Governance. Das Framework der relevanten IT-Prozesse wird kurz eingeführt und der Ansatz von COBIT an ausgewählten Prozessen illustriert.
