Chapter Chapter 2 in Digitalization in Procurement, 2024, pp 11-24 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Digitalization poses a challenge for organizations. Certain organizational functions such as purchasing, sales, logistics and generally all those that are part of the broader area of supply chain management will be required to achieve a closer integration to fully leverage the potential of big data and business analytics. To successfully implement digitalization, organizations need to invest in staff training, empower employees, change the organizational culture to embrace the key role of analytics for the company, and hire leaders who actively support digitalization.
