Thomas Liedtke ()
Chapter Chapter 7 in Information Security, 2024, pp 149-174 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Risk assessment processes can have different orientations, such as value-oriented or threat-oriented. Risks are evaluated in security based on the frequency of occurrence and the severity of the impact in the event of a successful attack. Standards define security levels that can include different characteristics: effectiveness, development rigor, methodological rigor, etc. Security standards can include functional safety.
