Abstract: Zusammenfassung Many aspects concerning the practical implementation of the Regulation are still unclear. In particular, which proofs are recognized upon import remains to be seen. The current staffing and financial resources available to the authorities responsible for carrying out controls and checks can be considered inadequate. It is to be expected that many problems will only be solved gradually and over time, and that further information and guidelines will be made available to the public in this regard.
