A chapter in Praxishandbuch Digitales Management, 2026, pp 255-267 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Technology is a key driver of business performance and value creation. In today’s dynamic and competitive digital environment, you’d be hard-pressed to find a leader who would disagree that technology is a key driver of growth and business advantage. However, not all digital investments are created equal, and neither is the ROI. Managers who want to optimize digital transformation must be clear on what it means to their business and how they define and measure its value.
