Abstract: Abstract Each year, the companies visited as part of the “Lean & Green Management Award” demonstrate how “Lean & Green” can be anchored and advanced within organizations. In both lean management and sustainability, they provide insights into best-practice examples where “Lean & Green” is either integrated or where both topics positively reinforce each other. In the following chapter, some of the award's top participants present their recipes for success and describe their approaches to implementation.
