Abstract: Zusammenfassung In diesem Kapitel definieren wir, was ein lineares Gleichungssystem ist, und stellen ein Rechenschema vor, mithilfe dessen alle Lösungen eines linearen Gleichungssystems bestimmt werden können. Nach der Einführung des Rechenschemas werden wir geometrische Interpretationen linearer Gleichungssysteme vorstellen und die Lösungsmengen mithilfe des sogenannten Rangs einer Matrix charakterisieren.
